during the labor day weekend, i took a break from my three weeks of school and flew up to san francisco.
i haven’t been since i was in elementary, but as soon as i stepped out of the plane, i felt myself falling in love with the city. the weather was perfect, the buildings were so cute, and the people were friendly.
we stayed at berkeley with emily, and although i loved how everything was close by, i missed the smallness and “bubble” of usc. eunice, emily, and i did all the tourist-y things–golden gate bridge, ferry building, sutro baths, ghirardelli square, bay bridge. then the more “local” stuff with william who knew where to go because he’s lived there for a while. it was fun exploring the city with public transit/uber and it made me want that type of convenience back in la.
it was a short 4 days filled with countless activities, and even now, two weeks later, i miss norcal.
’til next time, san fran.
